WHY SHOULD WE READ THE TORAH AND INJIL?

The Torah and Injil are the books of the historical prophets. The Torah was written by Musa and details the history of the relationship between Allah, His prophets, and the people of Israel. It contains the stories of Adam and Hawa, Ibrahim, Musa, and Dawud, as well as the many other men and women God used to accomplish His plans in the world. The Torah, as well as the Zabur written by Dawud, help us learn who Allah is and what He is like.

Yet we know that these early prophets were not the last that Allah would send to this world. After the times detailed in the earlier books, Allah sent Isa Al-Masih into the world. Isa Al-Masih came to show the people of Allah how to follow Him and to rightly understand the Torah. A historical account of the life and teaching of Isa Al-Masih was carefully recorded by his followers, forming the Injil.

Allah has protected these books – the Torah, Zabur, and Injil – and has made them available for us today, that we may learn how to love and follow Him. Each of Allah’s scriptures command us to read those that came before, yet sadly these before books are often neglected by Allah’s followers today! We encourage you to explore for yourself the truth of Allah in these incredible books.
